This wine is refreshing and zesty. Typically, it is complex to taste, with lively aromas of cider apples and white flowers, combined with a palate of crushed limestone, lime and citrus core. It has that wonderful minerality and saltiness which Vermentino displays making it superb with garlic prawns, crab linguini and chicken tacos.

Sourced from one of the few blocks of Vermentino in WA, grown on elevated well drained, deep gravel and laterite soils and ripening in warm dry summer days giving the wine it’s firm sense of Terroir, not dissimilar to its cousin the fashionable aromatic white of Sardinia.

(ALC 10.8%) (SEMILLON)

Semillon done properly, with a partial barrel ferment to provide a smidgeon of French oak influence drawing out further complexity. Wonderful lifted aromas of white peach and jasmine flowers, with characters of lemon, lime and vanilla bean. A wine which will drink young and racy but handle some time in bottle over the next couple of years, if you wait that long!

The fruit is sourced from quite possibly one of the best vineyards for Semillon in Margaret River, employing dynamic vinicultural practices, the fruit is clean, crisp and harvested early to retain acidity and drive.

Our proclivity for good Chardonnay has come full circle. Lifted lime and citrus with brioche on the nose, with a palate of crème brulee and a touch of classy French oak. Cloudy free run juice, is barrel fermented with wild yeast. 20% new oak and regular batonage.

The wine has undergone only partial malolactic fermentation. Sourced from select blocks on a Single Vineyard site in Yallingup, Margaret River, this wine features dynamically grown fruit, hand harvested and chilled for a cold ferment.

2018 GRENACHE (ALC 13.6%) (ROSÉ)

With a nose of wild raspberry, and aromas of red plum backed by star anise and spice, finishes with hints of savoury and gamey notes on the palate. Fermented to dryness it is a classic Rosé, but with fruit mellifluousness to create an absolute balanced wine.

Sourced from a small block of Grenache grown on deep gravel soils. This provides the warm dry climate emulating the Spanish regions which is famous for the juicy flavour and lifted aromatics of Grenache or Garnacha.

2018 COT

(ALC 13.7%) (MALBEC)

Good Malbec is exuberant and juicy. So this one is off the “Yeet” scale. Dark fruit exuding fresh red jube lollies and pomegranate on the nose, liquorice and turkish delight, coupled with a rich and sweet juiciness in the mouth and an obsequious velvety finish.

Sourced from an elevated block, the fruit is destemmed, but not crushed to include whole berries. Fermented in small open tops, hand plunged twice daily then a dash in old oak to keep the vibrant fruit.

Rocking Rioja with our own WA grown Tempranillo, archetypal Temp with a nose bursting with purple flowers, brambles cherries with lifted spice. Tempranillo one of the worlds noble grapes is out to revel with your favourite grilled meats, hearty pastas, Mexican and Spanish foods, roasted and smoked vegetables, and dare I say, is this the best damn pizza wine going around?

Juicy fruits up front to get the party started, a lush mid palate coupled with long fine velvety tannins due to the seasoned barriques. This Temp is Balanced – Lingering – Delicious.

2014 SYRAH

(ALC 14.5%) (SHIRAZ)

Que Syrah Syrah – or Shiraz as most call it. Deep purple crammed with opulent savoury plum and leathery fruit. Traces of liquorice, chocolate and coffee grinds resulting in long smooth tannins with a fine finish belying its deep power.

Hand plunged in open fermenters and aged in new and seasoned oak barriques for 12 months, the fruit comes from a single block at elevation in deep gravel over laterite. Yielding at less than one tonne to the acre, the fruit resembles spheroid steel bearings. This produces a high skin to juice ratio, resulting in this unctuous and slippery wine.

Emulating the finest of Bordeaux (BDX) a sophisticated nose with bright aromas of cassis, blackberries, violets and turkish delight. An elegant and medium bodied wine on the palate, with a core of dark fruit that cuddles up to the juicy charms of Malbec. Classy French oak adds cedar, pencil shavings and tobacco notes that integrate beautifully. Fine gravelly tannins and long finish. Refined. Delicious.
